A year of membership
Their profession | Their challenges | Their kind of community.
Problem: you find out who left at renewal time.
Members drift when nothing asks them to take part. Associations name "lack of engagement" as the top reason members don't renew, and about half of them say so.
News, an events list, a member login. Members check a date or pay their dues, then leave. Nothing there asks them back.
Members like, comment and scroll. The algorithm decides who sees your posts. The member list was never yours, and in June 2025 Facebook wrongly suspended many groups by mistake.
Newsletters here, event sign-ups there, video calls somewhere else. Each tool counts its own clicks. When the board asks why members should renew, you’re left piecing together reports—struggling to show who found help, made a connection, or gained something worth staying for.
None of these gives members a reason to take part. None of these shows members—or your board—the value of belonging.

THE REASON PEOPLE RETURN
A helpful answer, a shared experience, an introduction that goes somewhere.
These are the moments that make membership personal.
The short answer
HeartLynks is your own online community, with your name, logo, colors and web address. It has the basics: a feed, groups and chapters, events, chat and a member directory, on the web and on phones. It works next to your membership database, so there is nothing to replace.
Spark turns a post into a one-tap poll, a guess, a challenge or a shared goal, right in the feed.
An Ask & help question with no reply is sent to members who said they can help with that topic.
Each member gets a private "Your year here" page. You get the totals, ready to copy into your board report.
All of it is included in the price and switched on from the start.
30 days free. Card required. Cancel online any time before the trial ends. We email you before billing starts.

A YEAR OF MEMBERSHIP
Their connections, contributions, and shared moments—remembered in one private place.
“Your year here” shows each member the people they met, the help they gave and received, and the activities, events, and groups they joined. It also shows how many people used what they shared.
A snapshot of this week’s activities invites them to take part again. Their year in review helps them see what they did and got from belonging, before they’re asked to renew.

Nothing to track by hand. It counts what the platform already records: replies, thanks, Spark activities, event RSVPs, groups joined and new connections. Switch it on later and it still counts the months before.
One button tells your active members their year is ready, in the app, and by email if you choose. They see what they got before they are asked to renew.

Your rules, your members' trust
Your name is on the community, so you hold the controls. Your member list belongs to you.
Turn any feature on or off in your admin dashboard. Members see only what you switch on. You also choose who can join: anyone with your link, or only people you invite.
Challenge photos and stories appear after a host approves them. Members can report any post, and your team removes anything that breaks your rules.
Polls can be anonymous. No Pulse answer is ever shown with a name, and nothing shows before five answers. "I need help" topics stay private unless a member chooses to show them. Each "Your year here" page is seen only by its member.
Each member chooses who can message them and can make their profile private. They can also choose not to be suggested to other members. Membership details you import, like renewal dates, are seen only by your admins and the member.
You own your content and member data. Export it any time while your community is open. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your community's content to advertise to your members.
